No fire in new caravans!

Hi,

Our current van is a 2010 model and I am thinking of buying a new 2014 model. However, since our last purchase, I find that manufacturers have decided not to fit fires (apparently all mainstream makes).

Can anyone tell me if having just a Truma blown air or an Alde system is adequate, especially in winter caravanning. I do like it hot!
