TV aerial - should I leave power plug in?

Silly question perhaps but as we've only just moved to a TV after 24 years without, I wonder whether I should leave the TV aerial power plug permanently plugged in. Our motorhome is parked on the drive with mains hook up although we usually turn off the power. 

On the road, we have the power on.

So is it best to have the aerial power sock plugged in when not is use or leave it dangling in the cupboard?
