Cheddar Cheesed Off

I have visited the Cheddar Site and was very pleased to wake up each morning to the spectacular view of the Mendip hills from this site ...but having read today of Tesco's plans this view and the general location of this site could be in danger of disappearing.

 It appears that Tesco feel the need ,to satisfy the requirements of this small community, is to build a large supermarket on the grounds of the football club alongside the club site ( ref. Letters Daily Mail Wed April 25th ) So not only blocking the view
but also giving the feeling that you are camping in an industrial estate. I hope the club is aware of this proposal and exert what influence they can to block what appears to be an unwanted development.
