Watch out with new tyres !!!
Twelve months ago, just after we purchased our first tourer, we decided (because of the slope on our drive) to have a mover fitted. We purchased a Purpleline mover and have been delighted with its performance up until February this year, when we had to have
two new tyres fitted, and the mover stopped working !. We were told that the new tyres were causing the problem and it wasn't covered under the 5 year warranty. The new tyres were identical to the old ones but the gap between rollers and tyres had increased
so much, the mover wouldn't grip the tyres and therefore wouldn't work.So if you've got a mover fitted check with your supplier before you change your tyres and have to pay out to have it adjusted like we had to. The fitment company, Autowfix even suggested
we adjusted it ourselves !, and I dread to think what that would have done to any future warranty claims.
