A great site in Cornwall?

As you know, my wife, Ginnie (Virginia) and I am Australian.

We're spoilt for beaches and a great climate.

Can anyone recommend a good club site in Cornwall that is close to a sandy beach?

We're not used to pebbly beaches that you need hobnail boots to walk on.

 . . . . . . preferably with palm trees, balmy weather and warm seas (like a bath).

I don't want my missus to go away after six months thinking that England is a cold hole and not worth the time or money.

One week of great sunny weather, warm temps will give weight to me wanting to come back next year again.
