Purple Line 'enduro' caravan mover

I wondered if anyone else has had a problem with their ‘enduro’ mover not clamping on one side? Looking underneath I see that a little split pin that moves the cam arm has sheared, so no longer engaging the turning shaft. As this is under warrantee our dealer
is happy to replace for us. It just looks to me like a poor design – tiny split pin – a fault waiting to happen. I did talk to Purple Line about this – they said it was very unusual for this to happen ( but then they would, wouldn’t they! )

 So I was just interested to see if any other members have had a similar problem?
