The law regarding wild camping in Sotland

hi there

i intend to travel up to Scotland on the 20th of September and starting from john o groats take a slow meander back down the west coast stopping over in remote places and using sites

my questions are

1) is it legal to wild camp in my motorhome anywhere in Scotland?

2)if we are wilding and we have a few beers are we "drunk in charge of a vehicle"?

3)and lastly any standout sites poi's or beaches you all recommend!
