Blackout

A friend with a toddler has asked for advice on keeping the van dark now it is getting light earlier.  She has replaced all the curtains with blackout lined ones but the rooflights are still letting light in. 

I suggested cutting blackout to fit and taping or velcro-ing it on but any other suggestions please folks.
