Counter top freezer

We are thinking of getting a counter top freezer for our sojourns into Europe. My idea is so that I can have all the ice cream I want when on holiday but I have sold it to OH saying he can take as many of his garlic and pork sausages as he wants without them going out of date. Does anyone else do this? Is it worth the hassle? Does it survive in +30 heat? Have thought about it for a while; packing it with home cooked bits to use whilst touring - does the novelty of lugging it around wear off?

Hi Artyboo, did you get a counter top freezer?

We were thinking about getting one to keep frozen dog food in and were not sure if it would work ok after travelling.

    Thanks
