Chatsworth - dog walk problem
Having been on Chatsworth site for 5 days and taken the dogs on the dog walk multiple times each day they both have been licking their feet/legs to the extent that they have both created sore patches.
On the dog walk when playing ball I noticed that the ball became very sticky to pick up and it was quite hard to wash off my hands. I assume that this is the same stuff that got on their paws and they were licking off. Possibly pine sap as there are lots
of pine cones lying around.
Hopefully having washed them and given them antihistamine to calm any irritation they will heal without need to go to the vet.
Of course I dont know for definite it is to do with the dog walk but it seems very co-incidental so posting this to make others keep an eye on their dogs if they are walked there.
