Any tips for a good site near to a London tube?

Hello all, wonder if you can help

We are looking for a good safe site, which is within a mile or so walk from a London tube station.

If there is such a place we would use it this year to visit London zoo and of course the sights.

Ideally for us we would be most interested in North or East London
