Seasonal Pitches

Just reading about seasonal pitches and I have two questions for you all. 

First - If you have a seasonal pitch does your caravan stay on that pitch for the duration or is it brought on and off by the wardens from a storage area.

Second - Should there be a seasonal pitch facility within CC sites? Its not all sites or all times of year but does it restrict the number of pitches further for tourers? Would you like more or less of these? Does it make it less of a club for everyone?
