Dealer caravan servicing

I have taken my caravan into the dealers today for its annual service (2011 unicorn valencia) which was booked in, in September 2012. Today i was told "we are very busy at the moment" leave it with us. They have booked it to be completed by March 14th.

Now I understand dealers are busy at this time of year but 10 days to do a service, what are other people's experiences? Is this standard practice in the industry let me know your thoughts, as I am a relative newbie having had the van since May 2012
