Bridlington bike route into town.

Hi, just wondering if there are any Bridlington site users on, we are going there for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Just wondering if you are able to cycle to town (with young kids)  and which is the best route to avoid busy roads.

Can't quite tell, but is there a route through from the golf course? My current alternative is down the main road to church lane, then through onto the cliff top / land train road.

Any advice or better routes..... or even other good local easy safe ride routes for kids, for a day out (within say 40 minutes drive) will be gratefully received.
