Bailey Pursuit - Disappointed
Hi There - this is my first ever post, so hello everyone. I hope this is the right place to put this, but has anyone else been in a Bailey Pursuit and come out really disappointed? We are in the market for a newer model, and we had been looking at the Ancona and Olympus range (5 berth).
When we heard Bailey were introducing a new range, we thought we would hold back. Having done some substantial research on both the Ancona and also the Olympus range (plus some Sterlings), we finally managed to get a look at the Pursuit 540-5 today, and I have to admit, my wife and I were really disappointed in terms of both quality and corners cut.
For example, storage space has diminished with the removal of the under sink cupboard, gone is the window in the door, no curtain or door for the bunks, poor finishings all round, tiny oven, 3 burner grill, tiny sink, and a shower room that looks awful as it was just treated panelling rather than plastic panels, and then it had been vandalised by over 20 white screw covers! How long before the water pentrates behind them and the mould starts growing? And then we were told that we were viewing the PREMIUM model!!
Overall, I think Bailey have gone backwards here - it's not a step foward at all in my opinion.
Anyone else viewed the Pursuits?
Cheers
Jon
