HI there, I was wondering if anyone has come across the same problem that I'm just about to talk about.

I have recently purchased a Vauxhall Vivaro 9 seater minibus for my wife's job as a child-minder. Obviously as we own a 4 berth caravan it was time to get a towbar put on the minibus, So I took it to my local towbar fitter last weekend for this to be done,
after 30 minutes I got a call from the fitter saying that he had come across a problem where the towbar should be fitted.

When I went to pick up the van from the fitter he showed me that where the towbar fittings go under the chassis there was some plates attached with nuts and bolts. He told me that he doesn't think that a towbar will be able to be fitted to the van. The fitter
seems to think that the plates might have something to do with the seats in the minibus or something.

Has anyone had the same sort of problem arise when trying to get a towbar fitted onto a minibus, if so any help or advice that can solve the problem and finally get a towbar on would be great as the wife would like to take the caravan away soon.

If we can get a towbar on great but if we can't it would be nice to know.

Regards
