polishing the exterior of my caravan

Hi, I would like some advice on the best material i could use to give a bright glossy shine to the exterior of my 2006 caravan please. The sides & front have become matt finish & i have tried some car polish i use for my car that you buff once dry, But the
result is it is all patchy & dull. Any suggestions Please , Thank you Pete.
