Major fuel leak on Fiat Ducato Motorhome

We have recently had real problems with fuel pouring from the fuel filter housing after only 11000 miles from new. 4 lots of mechanics including Fiat authorized dealer have failed to cure by changing filter and 0-ring etc.  Tightening to specific tork did
not work, eventual remedy to replace entire fuel filter housing at huge cost.  Several dealers and internet forums indicate that on this 2008 model there have been many problems with this part.  Fiat Managing Directors dept deny this so just asking if anyone
else has had similar problems please.  Caravan Club member Cabby has posted on other forums identifying these problems - would be interested in his opinion also.  All the best.
