Off Motorway Stops
Due to an illness I have been unable to go on holiday this year I am getting better but find travelling somewhat painfull so we decided to do the journey in 2-3 hour bits .Most of the journey is Motorway and I cannot stand their services dirty ,smelly and
overpriced ! I have found a company online called justoffjunction.co.uk and they are great . They have found areas e.g supermarkets, ikea,cinemas near motorways to drive to within 5 minutes and it means I will be able to rest for a while without been smoked
to death by the lorries. I sent them an email explaining about caravaners they are now going to expand to help them. I am now starting to make notes of where there are large laybys preferably off the main road, perhaps where the road has been straightened
to make stops easier. A little list compiled would help all travelling. I will start off
Alayby on the nearside on the main road from Skipton to Harrowgate near Bolton Abbey station ideal as a stop Hope this is of use to any others.
