Noseweight issue

For many years we towed a Compass Magnum 534 before trading it in for a motorhome. This year we have gone back to a caravan for various reasons. I took great pride in the fact that I could get my outfit level when coupled up even with the original heavy
Calor gas bottles in the front locker and a lot of other gear. I now have a new Lunar Conquest 554 and noticed when I did my first journey in it that it was "nose heavy". Whilst this is far better than having the nose up in the air, I still felt that it was
not correct. Today, I took all the gear out of the front locker but left only one of the new lightweight propane bottles which is probably nearly empty judging by the weight. I put a noseweight gauge on the hitch and to my horror it kept going past the 100kg
mark! The maximum recommended noseweight for this van is 75kg so if this is being exceeded by quite a margin surely the fault lies with the manufacturer? I have towed it away on 2 breaks now and the outfit is very stable indeed. However in the event that I
had an accident with it, how would I stand? Anyone else had an issue with this and what have you done about it. (I will not load the rear up to compensate as this is very dangerous and can cause serious instability).
