Pembery Country Park

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I thought it would attract more people who could help.

We are off to a cottage in the Pembery area in a week with daughter's family.

never been here before but I know there is a CC site nearby so some of you will be familiar with the park and the general area so happy with any hints and tips you can share, places to eat, places for children etc.

Also as we have a dog and know the beach has restrictions, any information about where we CAN take her would be helpful.
