Just a warning regarding Meathorpe Fell Site. The handbook states arrive after noon. My advice is wait until after 12:30pm. It is a narrow road to reach the site with very soft edges. With members staying until the last minute (which they are entitled to) there is a good cahnce you will meet on this narrow road. There are passing places but as we allknow you will always meet someone who has not pulled over far enough.

The site is brilliant well worth a visit
