Old Truma Boiler recall (2006) "Burning

Mention of certain Truma boilers smelling of burnt plastic in another thread encourages me to highlight that there was a recall in 2006 affecting certain products (I quote) :-

TRUMA GERAETETECHNICK GMBH

BLOWN HOT AIR HEATER - Models C3402 E, C4002 E, C6002 E and C6002 EH

heater may overheat

At that time my own vehicle was affected and the boiler was modified by a Truma authorised agent at no cost. 

There was initially no formal recall and I was contacted by the original selling dealer who made me aware of the problem.
