Swift 2016
I bought a new swift challenger 580 on the 11th June 16, after one week of taking delivery. We had water leaking in both Small front windows. I have returned the caravan to the
dealer requesting a replacement van or refund.
I recently checked my consumer rights and it states. If the Van develops a problem within 30 days of purchase you are entitled to return for a replacement or refund.
My Question is has, anyone experienced the same problem with Their 2016 Swift Challenger? if so has yours been rectified

Not sure that any fault allows you to reject the product, it has to be sufficient to justify this. I would take advice from the clubs legal helpline before going further as you do need to get it right.
It is no excuse but it is a fault that can happen with any make as they all turn out the odd caravan with this problem. Unless the caravan is going back to Swift who it has been said do an excellent job the quality of any repair would be dependant on the competence of the firm doing the work.

Thank You for your advise.
I have checked my Cunsumer rights, these changed in Oct 2015 for Leisure vehciles under the fit for purpose act.
Has anyone who has purchased a Swift 2016 model had a problem with water leaking in the two small front windows?

Hi we just had similar problem with our swift conq 580. Had it 2 weeks and today discovered water leak by side window. Took it back to dealer who state ir is a seam in roof without sufficient sealant. We too want complete replacement as this water was in
puddles on floor and no electrics working. So disappointed0 -
Can I suggest you take this up on Swift talk too? Whatever disappointment you have (and we have problems with our new Swift currently being fixed by the dealer) at least Swift allow it to be discussed on their own forum. They will also on ocassions intervene
if you are not getting satisfaction from the dealer.0
