RV and CC pitches
After reading other threads on this forum concerning booking larger units, especially RV and 5th Wheelers on to CC sites. Why not update the choice of unit catagory for members to select. Instead of either caravan
or motor caravan add RV and 5th Wheel. Then update the site booking bit of the on line procedure to allow a pop up book for anyone with the RV/5 Wheeler to book. For example if the site has a usual maximum limit of 9 metres but has a couple of larger pitches
then when the RV owner tries to book a standard pitch the pop up box opens if either of the larger pitches are available. If not the booking is rejected. The site information details on line can be updated to show however many larger pitches a site has. The
designated RV pitches could be used by standard units if all other pitches are booked and no RV booking is made. No need to turn units away. This simple procedure will make it easier for the RV owner to book on line and will make it difficult for any anti
RV warden to needlessly block a booking.
