I am fully aware that our club have contacted the local council many times to have this problem sorted without success.

I have written again to them personally and want to encourage others to follow.

The sight has excellent location, staffing and facillities, what a shame that it is a struggle to get in and out!

This is my last letter to the council:

I wrote to you about my concerns to the Access Road to the Caravan club Brighton Sight earlier. After just spending a fortnight there this July, I have to say that this has got considerably worse than our last visit in 2011.

During this years stay, we experienced approximately 100 travelers occupying illegal camping on the recreation ground next door for the whole of Friday 12th July. This caused huge upset with road blockages, 48 hour security on the entry to our site, a broken
elbow on a warden carrying out this security and also several helicopter landings  on the recreation ground which is now the helipad with police and ambulance blocking this same access road.

Enough is enough and we will not be visiting your area again, especially when my disabilities were also effected and my wife had to walk several times a day on this road on her own, she felt very intimidated especially when illegal road campers seemed to single
her out and followed her on the higher park pathway before she took evasive action.
