Our first time

So we had our first trip this weekend. It wasn't without hiccups. First thing I did was drained the water heater rather than fill it and wondered why there was no hot water. Then I realised I forgot to fill up the tank and didn't have a hose, luckily
the friendly owner of the site did so all good. So once I worked out the water heater worked my wife decided to have a shower. "Pass me the towel " she asked. Bit difficult though as I left them in the hall at home ! So she had to manage with a tea towel and
hand towel. 

 

We took our two small dogs who loved it, long walks and fresh air works wonders for their sleeping sadly not for ours as it was a little colder than we expected so had to use the picnic blanket for extra warmth. Thicker quilt next time I think. Apart from
all that we had a really good time and looking forward to the next time. 

 

One thing to mention pretty much every single motorhome or caravan we saw gave a wave. Nice touch and made us really feel part of the whole lifestyle.
