Mondeo 2ltr Sport Estate as a towcar

i am considering buying a 2010 Mondeo Estate,powered by a 2ltr petrol engine. it is 143bhp. My current 'van has a mtplm of 1300kgs. I cannot seem to get the right car on the matching service, so would be grateful for any advice on this as a towcar.
