What has happened to the caravan club

Does anyone else feel as we do do?

I was a member of the Caravan Club many years ago, it was well run and the site rules were adhered to, members knew what they could and couldn't do.

I rejoined last year and I found that things had changed considerably. some of the wardens seem to bend the rules to suit there own purpose and friends. Sites now accept tents and are open to non members. Some sites you can choose your own pitch others you
are allocated a pitch. Some may feel this is better, but how do we know what to expect when we arrive at a new site. What has happened, I don't want a regimented site, but it was nice to know what you could expect when you arrive at a site.
