Drive away awnings with pneumatic corners

difficult to get the correct title in!!

has anyone experience of the good and bad points of the awnings with a pneumatic frame(pump up) rather than the plastic/ steel frame. Particularly in bad weather. 

I know the steel ones (and some plastic) are probably better, but the convenience of the 'blow up' ones seems a reasoneable idea.

any comments on theses welcome, thanks in advance.
