Skinny spare tyre trials

On Christmas Eve after traveling 130 miles (not towing) we got within 1/2 mile of our destination only to pick up a large screw in a front tyre. Lots of hissing! We managed to get there and quickly put on the skinny spare. We now had to find a tyre repair
dept before we could get home 3 days later, not easy between Christmas and the New Year! We did manage it through a really helpful company in Royal Wootton Bassett on the Saturday morning. The moral to this story is I have now purchased a full size wheel and
tyre in ebay! Good job we were not towing.
