Division of Labour. How do you do it?

I was marginally annoyed tonight.  Hard to believe I know - I'm usually so delightful.  Smile

Him Indoors has done next to nothing re our (shortly) forthcoming holiday but I've done lots.  Our storage place is five miles away.  We both have full time jobs (and we have four kids) but I've been back and forward like a yoyo to the caravan over the last
few weeks packing stuff for our hols..  As it's a new caravan, every single thing has had to go in.  So I've been a teeny bit stressed, I admit.

But, on Monday, when we set off, he has to (a) hitch up, (b) tow, (c) contend with four kids in his car while I blithely drive along alone in the Corsa, transporting bikes and the awning and listening to Meat Loaf, Status Quo, Runrig and Madness (I have
it all planned), (d) figure out how to pitch our new awning, (e) pitch our new awning - with the rest of us as mere giggly disrespectful pole-holders.  Then of course he is loo-emptier for the whole three weeks.

So, we break even, I reckon.

Do you also have divisions of labour which keep you from the divorce courts, I wonder?
