Should the end of an awning cross a window?
I have been a club member since 87 and I have always been of the opinion that an awning should not terminate across a window if only for the reason that it will scratch the window. We currently have a Ventura Cadet which fits our Lunar Clubman perfectly
but we do find the Cadet to be a little on the small side especially for longer stays so would like to find something a little larger. The Kampa 330 Pro looks exactly what we are looking for but it will encroach upon the window of our Lunar. Is this as much
a problem as I imagine it is? I have also noticed that in nearly every awning manufacturers brochure they show pictures of their awnings crossing windows. I have heard of people putting a strip of Clingfilm on the widow to protect it. Does anyone have any
views on this dilema I find myself in?
