Will my choice of tow vehicle be refused on site?

I have a VW transporter kombi that I use to tow my caravan and carry my kayak. It has 5 seats and is not a work van. I have heard rumours that it will be refused entry onto club sites or is this getting confused with camper vans being refused entry? Any
help or advice will be gratefully received.
