Advice on Kampa Air 330 Awning

Please can anybody advise us on the following question. We are considering buying a Kampa Air 330 awning. Having measured the caravan, there is no way we can place it, without it covering part of the side window. Are there any drawbacks to having it covering
the window fitting wise? We don't mind not being able to open that window, just wondered if it would still fit snugly against the van?
