Whale i-van heating vs traditional trauma

Hi

Thinking of getting a new Elddis 636 which comes with the Whale i-van heating system. Does anyone have any experience of this? I understand it's also fitted in the Bailey GT65 series.

Is as effective at heating the caravan as the Trauma system? Also I've read that it is noisy. Is this true or was this just in the early versions?
