Keeping an economical write off caravan

Hi, recently our caravan was damaged in the high winds when a tree fell and crushed a couple of caravans and a branch caught our van. The damage is minor scrap on side not pierced and about 6 inches long, plus aerial snapped.

the van is worth about 4k but the repair would cost +3k. The insurance have called in economical write off and said I can keep the caravan for £1400. I can live with the scratch and repair the aerial for less than 200.

van is in good condition and we know the history but any issues with keeping this other than reduction in selling price if we ever sell it.  Defo won't get a replacement as good as ours for 4k
