TV/DVD combo or seperate ?

hi everyone,im looking to buy a tv/dvd, what is the best combination? i would prefer seperate units as combi"s dont support blue ray dvds,at the same time i realise i couldnt watch them if not on hook up as they are 240v plus the amps will be higher,all
