Wild play and recreation areas

i have just returned from a holiday at Black Knowl in the New Forest. The site is in a wonderful wild area of Hampshire but is so manicured that it's like being in suburbia. I realise that that's what a lot of members like but I think there would be many
benefits if  some areas of Club sites were to be left a bit untidy so that children have somwhere to have adventures and to encourage wildlife. Are there any sites like that?
