Portable Solar Panel Advice

Hi everyone.  I have previously posted on the surviving non ehu post.  After changing my mind on numerous occassions I have decided to opt for a portable panel for the moment.  I am looking to buy one as soon as possible and thought I would seek advice.
There are only two of us.  We could probably manage on an 80Watt but will likely go for 100Watt. I thought a portable one would be easier to transport/store and had looked at these two

or I think this one comes with a charge controller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100W-Folding-Solar-PV-Panel-Portable-Silver-Framed-12v-Caravans-Boats-Shed-/261540316786?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

I am a little confused as to the series and parrallell charges mentioned on the first site.  I noticed that the first has two sets of wires coming from it but the second only one.  I only have one battery to
charge so would i need some sort of adapter for the first panel.

Also, people in the last few days have mentioned the baird panels.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Biard-100W-Watt-Monocrystalline-Solar-Panel-12v-24v-Battery-Black-White-Silver-/380642950620

I cannot see the size of these panels so wonderd if anyone had any idea.  If you have a flat panel like this could you just place it on the roof while you were on site to reduce chances of theft?

Any comments would be appreciated.
