Bunree to Kinlochewe route

We're touring in a few weeks, our route taking us to Bunree near Onich first.  2nd stop will be Kinlochewe - the directions on the website indicate a route off the A9 / A835 and A382.

We were hoping to go the more direct route via A82, A87, A890 & finally the A832.  Google Streetview indicates decent roads, but not sure about the gradients. 

Has any other member any experience of travelling to Kinlochewe from Fort William direction?  If so, did you follow the A82 upto Inverness and then via the A835 and A832

Our first time touring in Scotland - would appreciate any tips!  3rd stop will be Braemar and I haven't even looked at that route from the North yet :-)
