Aerial or Dish

As a first time motorhomer, I'm looking for advice in lots of areas, but one at a time eh? Should I get a TV ariel or a dish, and what type of equipment do I need. I apologise for being a bit vague, but I really have no idea. Any tips about other things
would be greatly appreciated too.  Thanks.
