Programming a Sigma M30 key fob
One of our key fobs failed and I got a replacement, but no keypad was provided when the immobiliser was fitted (by the original owner). Does anybody know of a dealer in the Manchester (Stockport) area who could programme our key fob please? I understand that I can't just take the key fob as the motorhome is also required. Is this true? Many thanks.

We had a similar situation when we bought our motorhome, but we had a keypad. The Sigma agent ( not Manchester) sold us a second fob and programmed it and the original via the the red buttoned blob thing on the facia. He also set a new code for the keypad as we didn't know the old code.
If you search on line for sigma code, usually associated with Subaru cars, you may find a manual to download. Don't despair!
Sigma were taken over, but any car alarm specialist will know what to do.

Looking at the manual, it would appear that the keypad is needed to programme an additional key. the manual also lists the keypad as one of the parts of the system. Looks like you'll have to take your 'van to a specialist.

Are you sure the keypad isn't tucked under the dash behind a semi concealed flap? An alternative might be in the upper part of the glovebox. Google Subaru alarm key pad and see if it helps.

I've not lost mine. On my Forsster it was under the dashboard.
