The bird on the attached photos were photographed on the campsite at Hohenstadt some 18 mls west of Ulm in Germany and about 2400 feet above sea level. I will be pleased if anyone can tell me the name of the bird.
If anyone is going near Colchester, go and take a look at 'Jumbo' the water tower. For the first time Peregrines are nesting on it. 3 chicks sitting around on the walkways, about 50 feet from ground.
