I'd appreciate some advice. Has anyone had experience of suspension stiffeners - spring assisters- rubber inserts into the rear suspension springs. The car sags when hitched . I use my Ford SMax for towing a 1500 kg Caravan. It has just failed the Mot on worn rear trailing arm bushes. When I removed them they just fell apart. I am wondering whether this a consequence of the extra stress on the bushes caused by towing. Have other people experienced this.
