Saw a short but hilarious comment about the High Hopes all those " Non~league teams " have from time to time !! Apparently a local team playing in the 14th tier of football A.F.C. CREWE { Most defo NOT T'Alex !! } Have offered RONALDO £35 per week to join 'em !! If you hear of violent guffaws breaking out over this way it…
Well, after 5 weeks the Rugby League World Cup came to a thrilling end this afternoon. And congratulations to the magnificent Aussies who proved once again that they are a league above any other nation in the sport. The final may have been a disappointment for England supporters but it was by no means the one sided affair…
Wow, what a start by the Red Roses. Looks like France and NewZealand will be the main opposition. I’m seriously impressed with the match fitness and tactical skills of these ladies. Let’s hope for an enjoyable game and positive outcome next weekend.
I don't have a great interest in sport, generally, but I do like to watch the Tour de France - not just for the sport, but for the chance to spot some of the places we have visited in France by looking at the TV coverage. The Tour starts again this coming weekend. If you want to know where the tour will take us this year,…
Have read of the death of this giant of both Welsh Rugby and sport broadcasting, who learnt many of his skills from other greats including Bill Mclaren, at the far too young age of 65. Another great gone too soon.
Anyone else enjoying this tournament? They have found a very popular format and this summers weather has helped tremendously. Big crowds, big fun!
I enjoy taking part in parkruns ( www.parkrun.org.uk ) and I was wondering which sites have easy access for parkruns? I know that www.caravanclub.co.uk is right next to www.parkrun.org.uk , any other suggestions?
You can now apply for tickets for the commonwealth games in Birmingham next year at Birmingham2022.com and the nearest club site is at Chapel lane just off Jnc 3 M42
How pathetic can one get? There have been many cases of Premier League players breaking the social distancing rules but the excuse given by Kyle Walker talks biscuit. All the money and privileges that they get and he expect the man in the street to have sympathy for him. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52587293
Well the contest is nearly upon us and the excitement is building. Predictions? For me I think England will do well, even with Farrell out. I hope Marcus Smith really shows us his creative skills. He’s got a good mentor in Jonny Wilkinson! The biggest test for them I think will be France. Bring the games on! .
