The electric drop down bed on my motorhome comes down ok but will not retract upwards as it should, I have managed to locate the 13mm bolt on the motor drive which is mentioned in the handbook ( after much searching, why doesn't it mention in the handbook exactly where it is, very annoying !! ) and I can manually get the…
I currently do not have the C1 on licence because it elapsed at 70. Is it OK drive a motorhome of say 3650 kg MPTLM if the van is always loaded to a max weight of below 3500kg. In other words, is it the plated max weight that decides if a non C1 driver can drive, or the actual weight of the loaded vehicle. Thanks
We have an original-style (i.e a high-roof Renault Trafic LWB conversion) Danbury Active Campervan. The water tank is underslung and I'd like to know how I can access it e.g. to replace or maintain the submersible pump. There is no (obvious) access hatch inside the vehicle: is it likely that it can only be accessed from…
Hi, i own a 3 year old Motorhome and have a Whale 8L, Electric and Gas Underfloor water heater installed. Then noticed the hazard warning lights had come on the dashboard was telling me that the fuel had cut off, engine had been stopped and wouldn't restart...... There was also a wee bit of diesel on the…

Hi, I have some fairly serious damp in a 1999 Swift Kontiki that needs addressing. Can anyone recommend a repair centre in the South West of England? Thanks
I decided to look at replacing the tyres on my 2011 plate motorhome as although there is still plenty of tread left and no visible sign of cracks, etc. I was aware that the recommended life is between 5-7 years. The first thing I noticed was that the date stamp on my Continental Vanco tyres was 0708 which I take to mean…
I would be very nervous about buying a motorhome without a spare wheel. What experience has anyone had with the repair kits?
