new to the motorhome world after purchasing a 2006 Swift Suntor (aka 590rl) Fiat Ducato. The use of seatbelts other than driver and passenger seats never crossed my mind but online research has left me confused. As far as I can establish it wasn't compulsory to have seatbelts in the rear area until after 2006 so if you…
Hello everyone, My wife and I are new to motorhoming - so new, we don't even have a motorhome as yet! However, we are just about to jump in with both feet and, after much searching, have located a 2018 plate Bailey 70-6... Looks great, and has (nearly) all that we're looking for, but my wife in particular is worried about…
We have a 2017 Hobby T60H Optima and need to replace the two gas struts which hold up the drop down bed. The problem is that when the bed is down and the struts are fully accessible they are compressed and whilst it was easy to remove the old struts, it’s impossible to compress the new ones before fitting. when the bed is…
We have an Elddis motorhome, 2 years old this week, that came with an alarm as standard. Until last night we've had no problems. However, 1am this morning I was woken by the thing going off and it wouldn't reset, or even go off at one point! I eventually managed to shut the thing up and lock it leaving the alarm off. Back…

My Bailey motorhome was supplied with a Banner 85AH wet cell battery. I have found it far from maintenance free, or even low maintenance come to that, and would like to replace it with a larger capacity AGM battery. There is a CL nearby that we would like to use which does not have EHU so I would be more comfortable with a…
HI all - I wonder if I can pick your collective brain about Pneumatic supension for my Fiat Ducato Adria coral. It has quite long overhang and is a bit long in the tooth at 13 years old in July. The current springs make a noise on turning and it was lively ride on the and paricularly when we are outandabouts with it…
This year I'm going to have to renew my driving licence by post to retain my C1 classification. Does anyone know how long DVLA are currently taking to process this type of application? Whilst I understand I can continue to drive in the UK whilst the Licence is the DVLA, I believe I cannot drive in Europe! Any advice. Thanks
Just in case you haven't, I have just discovered >MotorhomeMatt,< one of the better channels on U-Tube. Particularly enjoyed "Trespass: What you need to know about wild camping" as well as some of the others. Well presented and informative. I'm looking forward to more of these. peedee
I have a two year old Hymercar with a popup roof containing a double bed. The lining on the "ceiling" of the pop top has unglued itself so that it sags impressively in the centre, giving occupants the impression of being in a tent, not to mention having very limited headroom at the narrow end of the pop top. The original…
