On Channel 5 Tuesday night. I was full of admiration and respect for the way the Owen family live there lives, in one of the most remote places in our country. They have values that seem to have gone long ago with our must have everything way of life. They all seemed so happy with the simple things in life that maybe a lot…
I thought this was another brilliant drama from BBC. A gripping story, well acted and the way that Asian family got torn apart by what Raza was being asked to do was so authentic. But I was left a little puzzled by the conclusion - DON'T READ ON IF YOU'VE BEEN FOLLOWING THE SERIES AND HAVEN'T WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE YET!…
Did anyone else watch this excellent and thought provoking drama on BBC last night? 2 of my favourite actors, Sheridan Smith and Alison Steadman on top form and written by the always excellent Jimmy McGovern. A rather grim story but so well written and acted. If you missed it, try to make time to see it on catch up.

Wow! What an opening sequence and the drama just kept unfolding! Gripping stuff - shame about the adverts so I shall record the next instalment and whizz through them
E LO at the O2 last night were Amazing, my daughters last year Christmas present to me. Stayed over night so made a really nice night out, on for two more nights great band and venue, enjoy 😀😀
Anyone see that nonsense programme last night, Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip? Appalling driving from the Italian, but what a way to treat that poor hired Pilote. Let's hope Fred does better in France next week or there won't be much left by the time Ramsey throws it round the Scottish lanes!
Went to see this film this afternoon. Most will be familiar with the story of the Hatton Garden robbery by a group of pensioners!!! I expect most of us said at the time they will probably make a film of it, which they have. Stella cast of actors. Does it work? Sort of. Despite the fact that the people involved are hardened…
That was the most gripping 20mins opening to a programme I've seen in a long time. Has the makings of a very enjoyable thriller. Interesting and topical back story.
Went to see this film yesterday acting at its very best. Would recommend this to all.
