I'm sure I once read (before we all went digital I think) that there was an easy way to look back on CLs that had been reviewed in the magazine over a period of time. This didn't involve flicking through back editions. Is there somewhere in the ether where we can search for these and if not wouldn't it be a good idea?
As I have written before - I welcome the change in Club name to embrace motorhomers. My issue is that the CC had excellent brand identity and I fear that we may lose that in the short-term due to the sudden nature of the change. We own a popular CL and have 4 outfits staying this weekend (we would have had 5 but we had a…
We have planned a milestone birthday trip to Northern Ireland in April/May this year and have booked, Ford Farm (4days), 91 Bishops Road (19 days) and Aghalee (7days) all CL's. Whilst there are helpful reviews on the first 2 sites, we can find no information or photos with regard to Aghalee. Has anyone stayed there? Any…
The new logo I agree will be more difficult to spot at the roadside the red and green much nicer. while I am writing just another thought. A member for over 30 yrs I have only stayed on club sites about 3 times,as a pensioner a cheaper CL only membership card would suite, if I should drift into a club site,I pay the full…
So the re-branding has burst upon us and new signs were up at Moreton in March club site on the launch day (21 Feb 17) Very unhappy with the new roadside sign for CLs. Club doing its best to make CLs invisible? What do other members think?
I'm currently staying on a CL which I have used before. It's a beautiful place which has had a number of improvements since my last visit - and it was already great! I wanted to post a review to reflect this but found that because I have already posted one for this site, I couldn't post another! Is this correct? Gill
Why do so many CL site owners not bother to post photos of their sites in the listings on the website? Do they not want to encourage members to use their site or are members happy to go to a site when they don't know what it looks like?
Last Summer we toured Devon and Cornwall, we stayed at Cosy Cats Boarding Cattery. we only booked in for one night, but it was one of the best CLs we've stayed at so we stayed 5 nights it was only £14.00 a night, Brand new toilets and wet room shower with stacks of hot water. We are motor homers, but while we were there a…
Posting here as the website is not allowing me to write a review from the 'Gate Farm' CL entry. Staying here as it is close to the NEC and we are here for the show. Excellent CL. Secure, well laid out, good views and electric points, water (fresh and grey), chemical toilet emptying and rubbish and recycling all newly…
some years ago i made a formal complaint to the club about a man called edmundson at low hall farm near broughton in furness he is a foul mouthed individual desperately in need of anger management and a man unable to exercise self control i was badly let down by the club who basically listened to his lies and gave me no…
